A lifelong Angeleno, Cami Starkman is an Emmy-nominated editor known for shaping emotionally resonant, visually bold storytelling across commercial, documentary, and narrative formats. She began experimenting with film as a student at Crossroads School and later earned her MFA in Film Editing from the American Film Institute in 2012.
Since then, she has edited a wide range of award-winning workâcutting top-brand campaigns for clients such as Amazon, Calvin Klein, and Puma; music videos for Katy Perry, Eminem, and Solange; and long-form documentaries for Hulu, HBO, and KCET. Her editorial work on Searching For Soul Food earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Single Camera Editing category in 2024. She was previously awarded a Los Angeles Emmy for Tending the Wild.
